A typical urban beach and easily the most popular in Almuñécar, Puerta del Mar is right in the town centre and gives easy access to to the shops, banks and eating and drinking holes. Lots of fun to be had day and night.

Beach: 1140m long and 50m wide.

Swimming/activities: Calm waters with anchoring area

Amenities: Litter bins. Toilets and showers. Sunbeds and umbrellas to rent. Boat hire.

Getting there:  Follow signs from the N-340. Street parking and underground parking.
